Clean, confident and elegant – our latest app prototype for Deutsche Bahn.

The user experience creation started with a comprehensive mapping of personas, to understand the current and future employee. The user interface was designed after extensive workshops with insights from DB employees and there needs in dependence to all relevant internal data on different intranet platforms. We collaborated very closely with HR team to develop a shared understanding of the goals and characteristics of the app, together fleshing out the app’s functionality and interactions.

The Helmholtz Zentrum Muenchen – German Research Center for Environmental Health is a major research center in Munich. Its research is integrated into the Helmholtz Research Fields “Earth and Environment” and “Health”.

As a partner of the Fuenfwerken Design AG, who was responsible for the website’s redesign, it has been our team’s task to develop a responsive website concept, optimized for desktops, tablets and mobile devices.

Often the mobile experience for a web application or site is created after the desktop version is released.
With a mobile first viewpoint, we start by loading the absolute bare essentials on the smaller platforms. This leads to a snappier experience that avoids unnecessary lag. The additional resources are loaded strictly on an as-neeeded basis to platforms that can handle them well.
